Mira Brtka je nosilac novih tendencija u srpskoj savremenoj umetnosti druge polovine prošlog veka. Svoje obrazovanje stiče u Beogradu, a umetničku karijeru gradi u Rimu. Sveobuhvatni, multimedijalni opus Mire Brtke, prikazan je u 16 celina prvog sprata Muzeja grada Beograda.
Pored njenog likovnog stvaralaštva, izložba ''Refleksije'' prikazuje paralelno, i sa jednakim fokusom, njenu delatnost kao filmske režiserke, kostimografkinje, modne dizajnerke, aktivistkinje.
Na izložbi je prikazano više od 300 najreprezentatvnijih eksponata.
Posebnu pažnju na izložbi privlače njene skulpture. Prikazani su svi Brtkini vajarski tematski ciklusi od skulptura malog formata, do onih monumentalnih.
Izložbu su pratila stručna vođenja. Izložbu je posetilo blizu 20.000 posetilaca u sred pandemije koronavirusa.
Izložba je osvojila Politikinu nagradu za najbolju izložbu u 2021.godini, nagradu DISRUPT, u kategoriji Kultura i umetnosti, a listovi NIN i Večernje novosti, istakle su je među najuspešnijim izložbama u 2021.godini.

The MIRA BRTKA Foundation and Belgrade City Museum - a retrospective exhibition of Mira Brtka
Mira Brtka was very important figure of Serbian contemporary art in the second half of the last century. She studied in Belgrade, and built her artistic career in Rome. She left behind a large artistic oeuvre. A big part of her opus was shown in this exhibition. The comprehensive, multimedia opus of Mira Brtka was displayed in 16 units on the first floor of the Belgrade City Museum. Apart from the fine art , the exhibition "Reflections" in an extraordinary setting, which showed with equal focus her activity as a film director, costume designer, fashion designer and activist.
The exhibition featured more than 300 of the most representative works of art.
In her art, Mira used paper, textiles and traditional embroidery techniques in an authentic way, exploring the meeting place of two-dimensional works with three-dimensionality and free form (collage, assemblage, object). Her sculptures attract special attention at the exhibition. The exhibition visited nearly 20,000 visitors in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
The exhibition won Politika's award for the best exhibition in 2021, the DISRUPT award, in the Culture and Arts category, and the newspapers NIN and Večernje Novosti highlighted it among the most successful exhibitions in 2021.
