"Heterotopije" u Savremenoj galeriji Subotica

Lana Vasiljević je u periodu od 25. oktobra do 29. novembra, u Savremenoj galeriji Subotica predstavila samostalnu izložbu pod nazivom „Heterotopije“, čija kustoskinja je Una Popović. Izložba predstavlja seriju novih radova (skulptura, objekata, crteža, instalacija) podeljenih u devet celina koje sačinjavaju složeni prostorni ambijent koji govori o vremenu, metafizici predmeta, materijalizaciji emocija i uspomena, simbolici svakodnevnog i bliskog, sinhronicitetu, arhetipovima i snovima, putovanju u podsvest, prostoru drugosti - svetovima unutar svetova…
Tokom više od dve decenije umetničko istraživanje Lane Vasiljević fokusirano je na razumevanje iskustva nastanka i fenomena skulpture kao procesa prepoznavanja, transformacije i rekontekstualizacije predmeta iz svakodnevice. Za autorku, skulptura nastaje u činu građenja, konstrukcije koja polazeći od poznatog i postojećeg, prerasta u novi i zagonetni objekat.

From October 25 to November 29, Lana Vasiljević presented her solo exhibition titled “Heterotopias” at the Contemporary Gallery Subotica, curated by Una Popović. The exhibition features a series of new works (sculptures, objects, drawings, installations) divided into nine sections, forming a complex spatial environment that addresses themes of time, the metaphysics of objects, the materialization of emotions and memories, the symbolism of the everyday and the familiar, synchronicity, archetypes and dreams, a journey into the subconscious, and spaces of otherness—worlds within worlds…
Over more than two decades, Lana Vasiljević’s artistic research has been focused on understanding the experience of creation and the phenomenon of sculpture as a process of recognition, transformation, and recontextualization of everyday objects. For the artist, sculpture emerges through the act of building—a construction that, starting from the familiar and the existing, grows into a new and enigmatic object.
