KRISTINA PIRKOVIĆ - "THE END OF THE WORLD AND ONE MORE DAY"

The solo exhibition by Kristina Pirković at the Salon of the Museum of the City of Belgrade, titled The End of the World and One More Day, held from March 13 to April 12, attracted several thousand visitors.

The exhibition presents a series of paintings and drawings that Kristina Pirković created over the past few years. It includes the cycles The Great Creator and Forests, which, according to the artist, naturally build upon one another. The focus is on the contemporary individual, who carries tradition within themselves—a tradition that ultimately defines them.

The exhibition consists of paintings, drawings, and sculptures, and at the core of Kristina Pirković’s artistic inquiry is the question: does humanity still control its own achievements, or has it been overtaken by them?
